On this day in Jamaica real estate history March 28, 1973 Ground is broken by Prime Minister Michael Manley and Housing Minister Tony Spaulding for the first phase of a housing development project at McIntyre Lands in Eastern Kingston. The project is expected to provide 437 housing units.
