Sydney Melville, owner of the Chelsea Hotel which has operated at its present location in New Kingston for over 40 years, is reportedly looking to sell the hotel, and has enlisted realtors Valerie Levy and Associates to help dispose of the property which sits on 1.5-acre. Melville, who is 88 years old, has reportedly said that he and his family have decided to sell the hotel as a going concern. He has four children, but they have decided to pursue other business interests.
The asking price is said to be US$1.5 million.
