A new franchise, for the international renown Re/Max real estate brand, has been opened at the Winchester Business Centre on Hope Road in Kingston. Its directors are Newton Johnson, David Dixon, Nadia Dixon, Richard Oliver and Faith Downie.
This new Re/Max Jamaica franchise, which has 10 agents, is said to be optimistic about foreign interest in local real estate. All Jamaica’s property market is a bit soft – largely because of the current recession – the directors are positioning themselves for business once the expected turnaround begins.
A previous Re/Max franchise had existed here in Jamaica before, but it was reportedly canceled in May 2008.
